Update time... Update time...
Ok.. Ok... already... here we are at the end of the weekend and I guess it is time to update this thing called a blog... so here we go...
Let's see, where to begin..I will give you updates on the adventures of me... jrayfuller... since my last adventure.
We will call this one... rock and bowl... be prepared...
A few weeks ago I was talking with my friends Jenn and Russ who likes to bowl and Russ said that he was a great bowler, which by the way he is... and I told them that I would like to go bowling, which by the way I am not so great at... but who cares... cause it is all in fun...right??So we all decided to go to Rock and Bowl in Brentwood and enjoy ourselves on a Friday night. Sounds like a good idea right?? Oh my, you are only half right. We decided to meet at Russ's house and pick up Jenn's brother Justin(Minnkey) and his friend Sarah. They had one more friend meeting us there. Sarah by the way can only stay till 11:00pm and has to be home. Bad Sarah... just kidding... Rock and Bowl starts at 10:30 pm so she only got to bowl for about 1/2 an hour... but I digress. (Bad Me) Well the bowling alley puts on this rap music stuff and turns on the disco ball and "black"lights and twirling lights and we all think that this is going to be a good night and we are going to have fun. We play video games and stuff before we start bowling. When we finally get to the lane and start... I realized that Russ just can't play to play... he used to be on a league and when he bowls, he BOWLS!! He is DANG good. Jenn is just throwing balls to throw them... I start out trying to bowl well and sometimes I do well and sometimes I suck... gutter balls and all. Sarah and Minnkey, are trying to do ok... but Sarah is mad that she has to go home early and so she is not all into it... While we are all getting warmed up and stuff, this group of guys join the alley next to ours, and my first thought was oh this isn't going to be good, I thought high school kids... not a good move, but I was WRONG!!! These kids as I will call them, and our lane started having these so called "challenges" as to who could do the wierdest bowling tricks and get the balls to stay in the lane.. I did granny shots frontwards and backwards... then the kids next to us would lift one of the others about the mid waist area and carry him(the bowler) to the line and he would throw the ball down the alley that way... then we tried the fireman's carry over the shoulder and Jenn throws the ball pretty well. Russ is throwing strikes and spares so he doesn't completly get into the fun part of this and that is fine... while Russ and Minnkey take Sarah home, that is when Jenn and I start throwing things to have fun. The alley finally starts playing some decent music and by that time Russ and Minnkey are back from taking Sarah home and we start really having fun... Jenn a couple of times, threw the ball back at us sitting on the chairs... I dropped the ball once... or twice...and this type of bowling went on for the next several hours, but we had fun.
