It's Friday.. here we go again..
so let's see where did I leave off with the adventures of the kitties and me...

oh yeah now I remember, well, Monday I put Brownie outside first, because she decided to put her claws through the screen window in the back of my apartment. Now I wouldn't have minded it if the screens were old and needed to be replaced... but NO, she being one of the two STUPID cats that I adopted, like an idiot... had to put her claws through the NEW screen that my land-lord put in about a year maybe two years ago. He has within the last two years replaced every window in my building with new windows and screens and so she went out first... at this point I am sure that if you are reading this, which I know of only one person that does...you are thinking, "what a mean little ass I am" and that is fine and dandy. You can think what you want.. I did not just throw her out into to the cold cruel world. I took her out and petted her and cuddled with her( which she hated by the way) and then put her down to let her explore. She started exploring and found some trees behind my place that she liked fine and was"sucked" up by the trees. I thought hey what a great thing.. disappering cats.... so I went in to my apartment, and got Tiger, who had been whining, and moaning at this point, because she knew what was coming... and took her outside. She liked being cuddled, and purred alot.. when I would scratch behind her ears... I cuddled with her and she was nervous and then she jumped down when she saw Brownie, and bolted for the trees with sister, and she was "sucked" up by the trees. Side note here... I did try and push Tiger over the fence on to another complex but she being the smart cat of the two, hung on to the fence and climbed herself back over to my side. Damn cat, so I let her get "sucked"up by the trees and didn't see either cat again. Until Tuesday evening, when I came home from work.
Those two knew the sound of my truck and the doors to my apartment because when I came out of the house on Tuesday evening.. they bolted up the stairs to my door and "greeted" me with meows and "feed us" so I did. I got home Wednesday from work, and one of my neighbors, came over to me and told me that they were digging in the flower beds and leaving their messes behind, so I cleaned that up and then put their litter box outside for them and their water dish and food dish, thinking that would take care of that issue. NOT!!!!
I came out of the house getting ready for work today and my neighbor came down the stairs and said that the cats needed to go away.. her daughters car and been walked all over this morning and was just a mess... there are two stray cats that are now hanging around my apartment building because of my two idiots... I told her not a problem and started to gather my two little "darlings" up... and move them on... well, that wasn't about to happen very easily.. I got a hold of Brownie and petted her and put her in my truck... which she didn't like at all... she scratched the hell out of one of my fingers and my chest trying to squirm away... and then I got a hold of Tiger. Well, that proved to be a disaster waiting to happen, and they knew it... they both escaped from the truck and ran to the trees and hid... well.. they both came out of the trees and bakc in the trees when they would see me at different times and after about six times of this.. I went in and got a can of tuna for them and "lured" them ( here little kitties, have some tuna) into my truck. Their litter box in the meantime had been thrown away... and so was the water dish and I finally got them into the truck and drove away. Brownie and Tiger were both freaking out... and then Brownie found the tuna fish that I had put in the truck and she was happy on the floor of my truck and Tiger was just having a fit... she was every where... all over the truck and then she started her wailing.. a LOUD sad meow... and then she discovered the tuna also... so for about two minutes of the 20 minute drive to work... I was able to listen to my favorite radio morning show. I turned on this street in Antioch into a NICE neighborhood and drove up the street till I found a nice grassy area. Nice homes all around the area. I opened the truck door after I pulled over... and Brownie bolted for a house and crawled under their fence and Tiger, who by the way had kissed Brownie good -bye before getting in my truck that final time, I put her in the grass and I turned around and when I turned back, she was gone... left my world FOREVER!!!!
YIPEE!!! SOB SOB!!! THEY ARE GONE!! Boy will I have some pissed off friends if they EVER find out what I did... so let's just keep this a SECRET!!! OK??

I am Kittyless!!!YIPEE!!

A little background story here... before I celebrate...

Last April, two friends of mine had 4 kittens born in the backyard of their house. They were female and feral. Mean little boogers. After much discussion, I decided to take two and they would keep the other two. The two that I took, were the wild of the four. I named them Brownie and Tiger. Brownie, looked like a chocolate brownie, with vanilla on her belly and carmel mixed in... Tiger was a gray striped kitty that looked like a tiger. They were cute and somewhat cuddly to begin with... and then at times, they were terrors... let me tell you.. Their favorite pastime was to see how to bug their owner at 3:00am... by scratching underneath the bedroom door. I rent an apartment from a very nice landlord and he wasn't thrilled with the idea of me bringing these animals in... but he agreed and I told him that I would take care of the apartment and make sure that they didn't destroy the place.
They came home with me last August and it has been somewhat peaceful, but also very stressful... they didn't like the doorbell being rung, they didn't like other people coming to the house, they didn't like being held except by me... which didn't sit real well... at times. I checked on prices to get them fixed so that no little kittens come along and also possibly de-clawed. I had several friends tell me that the de-clawing is in humane and along with the price.. I decided not to do either. $500.00 for both cats.. ouch.. well to make a LONG story short, I found someone to fix them for free... and then today they both became outside kitties... I will tell you about that story tomorrow.

It will be better than a Valentines story.
good night.

New Week, New Post....
Here we go... well, this week has been one of adventure and life... yipee...

I haven't heard anything from the job interview yet except when I called him(John) he told me that the company president wanted to do follow-up interviews and that I was on the list and would hear from them when they could schedule the second interview.

One thing that was fun, was that I went out to dinner Saturday night with a few friends, from the theater group that I work with in Oakland, by the Oakland Temple for the LDS church, and a couple of the people had their wives and kids show up so it ended up being a big group, which after the way the Birthday week went, BTW, still no card from my father... oh well, I will give that up... it ain't going to happen.. it was really nice to have all of my friends, who are in the area, go out to dinner with me... yes S, Mike J was there... amazing I know.. maybe I am changing my ways in my OLD age... shut up S... I know you have a comment... about my age, but just keep it to yourself. This is after all, all about ME!!!! no, I'm not BITTER!!! Not bitter at ALL!!!!

Work was work... I work for a company that is run by a husband and wife team... and let me give everyone a piece of advice... DON'T EVER WORK FOR A COMPANY THAT IS RUN BY A HUSBAND AND WIFE!!!!! It doesn't work... EVER!!!! This is the second time that I did this and it just doesn't work. They don't communicate. So no one knows what the other is thinking and then they expect me to know what is happening. The last time I tried to read someone's mind... I couldn't... it was TOOOO cluttered, and I drew a blank... inside joke... bad one I know.
So the quicker I can get out the better.

Other than that life is good. The weather has been gorgeous...I won't mention to S, that it is 70 degrees and beautiful here... I know, S... shut up and drop dead... hehehehehehe.. it is very cold and snowing where S, is... sorry... hope to see him soon.

Well, that is all for the moment. More to come... I will try and liven this thing up quite a bit... boring I know...
Good night.

Let's see, where to begin??
My adventures... Boy could I write a book and anyone reading this, if there is anyone besides me... would never in a million years believe that this is my life... but none the less... here we go...

I was born in Virginia and lived in NY, Mass, SC(Yuck), Utah, Idaho, Utah and now here in the wonderful state of Cali...

My 38th birthday was Monday, the 30th of Jan. and it kind of sucked.... why you ask?? maybe you don't.. I don't know but here is the reason.... I was mostly ALONE!! for the whole day on my Birthday!! I went to work for a couple of hours...we'll explain that later.... much later. Then I went to a job interview that for the most part went very well... I am hoping to know more of the results of this by Monday... the 5th of Feb. and then I had nothing to do... so I went walking in the city of San Francisco, in the rain for about an hour and a half. I went to Berkeley for a dinner with my brother, and hopefully his wife... yipee... more on that later... and that was good. We went to Outback and had this fantastic waitress who, like me, believes in celebrating Birthday's the entire week... then I went home and got ready for bed..

Ranting Time.... S... look out!!

I think that the day sucked because not one person, of my immediate family called me... I CALLED them... some might say big deal.. but to me it is... I try to remember people's birthday's and make them feel special... I make sure that I call and send cards and all of that.. I really do.. is it too much to ask that my father call me before 9:00pm on my birthday?? and that my other brother who lives out of state call me at all??Is that too much to ask?? I don't care about the presents especially from my father... but a stinking phone call would have been nice. I called him just before we went out to dinner. I will give my FRIENDS a kudos.. they all called me during the day and if I wasn't available, then they would leave me a message and that showed me that they cared. I know my father cares... but he has a weird way of showing it.. so this week I have been awaiting my father's card, and a few others that sent their cards late and haven't gotten them yet. Hopefully the post office has them and not something else... we shall see if they ever arrive.

Maybe I am making too much out of this. If you are reading this sorry, but I needed to VENT!! over this one.

Now good night and check back if interested for more.
